What's on your Cellphone?

Sorry I've been slacking on the posts.  With hubby out of town so often, I'm short on material.    So, I'm going to do a cellphone pic posts.  Consider yourself warned.  Most of these, are pictures I've sent to hubby via text.  I like to keep him in the loop as to what I'm doing with my hair and nails.  I'm kidding!  Although, it does come across that way when I was going through my pics.  I really do have more substance to me!  Promise!



I'm blonde again!

This summer I went extra sparkly with my nails.  I just did it on a whim.  I ended up getting a lot of compliments and someone even told me they are called "rock star nails!"  Wow... Who knew!?!

I picked up this delicious bag of  Chile Mango at the dollar store.  I was starving.  Thank goodness I got the "bolsa gigante" (giant bag)!  All 6 oz. of it was way too filling! I hope you are noting my sarcastic tone.    Let's just say, I'd hate to see their "bolsa pequena" (small bag).

How thoughtful! A sweet patient brought me a gift.  A bracelet she picked up while in India.  I love it!

We have some new additions to our familia.
My son begged me for these African Dwarf Frogs.   I agreed to buy them due to them being minimal upkeep and the fact that he has held his end of the bargain when it comes to doing his chores and homework.

I noticed this little cat sleeping in our bushes and under my car for a little over a week.  I have no idea where he came from.  He is really sweet and very skinny.  I broke down and started feeding him.  I guess he is our new "outdoor" cat.  (hubby will be thrilled I'm sure.)

Black nails, toes, and a ring I couldn't pass up.  I'm sure my husband loves receiving all these pics of nails, hair, and jewerely.  He is awesome though and never says anything about me blowing up his cellphone with all my girly pics.

Has anyone else seen this new marinara sauce?  Anyone tried it?  It better be some kickass marinara sauce for $7.88!

So, the other day I realized I was out of dishwashing detergent.  I decided to improvise.  I mean is it really necessary to use "dishwashing" detergent or is that some kind of marketing scheme to get you to spend more?

Yes, you do need to buy dishwashing detergent apparently.   So now what do I do?  Well you definitely DON'T want to clean it up and take the dishes out then re-wash them by hand!

Improvise my friends.....  Improvise......

We're proud new parents of a baby jalepeno!  We bought these topsy turvys for $1.50 at BigLots.  I had little faith in them.  To my surprise we had a jalepeno pop out and our tomatoes are starting to get little buds on them.  With hubby traveling so much, this is our only option for garden veggies this year.

While running errands we decided to stop and eat Mexican for lunch.  It just happened to be Cinco de Mayo.

.... while at the Mexican restaurant some girls approached us with a little flyer.  They were selling "SUPER FRUIT" margaritas!

made with "acai" berries which is very high in antioxidants, no added sugar or chemicals.  This made me want to fall on the floor and start laughing like a crazed woman!  I held it together though...  Hubby and son were with me.  WTH!  Like I'm going to spend $15 bucks on a "super fruit" margarita after I've eaten my fat, calorie, preservative filled food and am now munching on a sugary piece of tres leches cake.  Ummm, who was the mastermind behind that one?

OMG!  I had no idea QT (a gas station) sells conchas!  This will do for a quick fix

Look what I found at Wally World!  A "Better Homes and Garden"  Mexican edition.  There are so many delicious recipes in this magazine I have no idea where to start!

Father and son watching YouTube videos.  They looked so cute that I started snapping pictures until The Mexican gave a "look" and said, "That's enough!"  Can we say party pooper?

Why of course!!!!  Where else would you keep sunglasses and grass seed!!!  Let's see how long it takes before mi Mexicano starts searching the house for these items....  unless of course he reads this post.

Being creative with paint.  We put paint on our paper then folded to make different designs.

We thought this paint design looked like the transformer "Optimus Prime."

Uh-oh! Hoping hubby doesn't get mad when he sees this.  I couldn't resist!  One cold day (I think the only cold day we've had this winter) I came home from work and found the boys all bundled up under las cobijas taking a nap.  I had to snap a picture.  Love them!
