I had heard of this place but was not expecting it to be this much fun! I pictured tractors and corn and that's about it. I was wrong!
As you might have guessed, the whole park is corn themed.
They had a small petting zoo and you could feed the animals. This little pig was several months old and a real cutie!
They did have tractors.
Here is a smaller tractor ride for the little kids.
The kids and adults also went on a hay ride which was fun.
This is basically a sand box, but instead of sand, it's..................
you guessed it, corn!
I couldn't resist this and had to stick my feet in!
This is the Pumpkin Blaster which speaks for itself!
We panned for gold and found some "gems." Some lucky people found fossils!
I had never seen these before. They were called jumping pillows.
The kids enjoyed the slides! They had all different types. No fancy equipment needed!
Maybe one day I can record a video with out sounding overly excited. That's just me though.... Here is a video of another slide that was a lot of fun!
There was so much more but we were too busy having fun to pose for pictures and take videos. Corn Dawgs was an unexpected suprise for me. Everything was rustic. Very little fancy equipment with a lot of simple games and rides. It was a perfect activity for fall! They even sold "Elotes!" We'll definitely be going back.
Who knew CORN could be so much fun!
That place looks like loads of fun! We have a family farm near us that does a lot of the same stuff, but no slides and no pumpkin blaster. I'm going to have to make sure we take the kids there soon! FUN! And it is a-okay to sound excited ;-) Do they let grown-ups go down that slide? Talk about exciting *LOL*
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun! I am glad you guys got the chance to go out and enjoy yourselves.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia has Corn Dawgs and South Dakota has the Corn Palace. But we all know the real corn is grown in Iowa ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun, I never heard of the place and I lived in GA all my life!
ReplyDeleteThey have those huge slides here in Monterrey all over the place!! I went down one, one time, it scared the s*^t out of me so, that was the first and the last!! It was like 3 stories high!!!
I love it! Que divertido! Where do you find these places? We don't have anything like that around here. Actually, the closest thing is Spookyworld, but no way Junior would want to go there.
ReplyDeleteDid they sell Corn Nuts?
This place is the worst maze in Georgia! There are much better mazes that are a lot less money. This one is so commercial and the kids that work there are rude to customers!
ReplyDeleteYou've won the Liebster Award!: http://www.yesweretogether.com/2011/10/liebster-blog-award.html
