OMG! I had no idea QT (a gas station) sells conchas! This will do for a quick fix
Look what I found at Wally World! A "Better Homes and Garden" Mexican edition. There are so many delicious recipes in this magazine I have no idea where to start!
Father and son watching YouTube videos. They looked so cute that I started snapping pictures until The Mexican gave a "look" and said, "That's enough!" Can we say party pooper?
(it doesn't show up well in my cell photo) but.... don't let the bars on the windows and padlock on the door fool ya! This place is always busy and sells the best wings in town!
Mmmm! QUE RICO!
Look closely. Do you see anything out of the ordinary in my laundry room???
Why of course!!!! Where else would you keep sunglasses and grass seed!!! Let's see how long it takes before mi Mexicano starts searching the house for these items.... unless of course he reads this post.
Okay, I showed you mine! Now, you show me yours.
I bouht that exact same magazine in December at my grocery store back home! Has some good stuff in it, I enjoyed several of the recipes.
ReplyDeleteI dont have a cell here or I would share what is on mine! At home it had a million pics of my kids, and a lot of babywearing/sleeping baby shots as well ;)
Mami!
DeletePics of the babies are always fun to see!
Isn't that magazine full of good recetas? I've yet to try any. I want to!
Thanks for your comment!
I am literally drooling over those street tacos. And I can't even find decent tortillas. Oh, woe is me.
ReplyDeleteMmmm! Street tacos are the best. I actually have a hard time finding decent tortillas myself! If you ever come across a brand that taste like the real thing that is sold in a store, pass the info my way!
DeleteAlways fun to see what's on the cellphone! And I'm sorry I haven't been around much, but I'm LOVING your new look :) Can I ask where you got the new design?? I'm seriously just loving it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kelsey! Yes, Chantilly Pantiño from www.biculturalmom.com did my blog design. I think she did an awesome job and will be forever grateful to her!
DeleteConchas at a gas station! Clearly, you don't live on the East Coast. Me muero de celos.
ReplyDeleteAmiga! You are so funny! I couldn't believe it either actually. The had them hidden on the bottom shelf. Luckily, I found them.
DeleteI'm jealous of the conchas at a gas station, too. And you happened to catch me on a week when I was texting cooking photos to my husband as I experimented with carnitas for the first time. . . so I ended up blogging about it. http://www.borderlinesavage.com/2012/03/carnitas-on-my-cell.html
ReplyDeleteYay! So glad you blogged about it Susan! I'm really enjoying your blog.
