Spanish Friday

English translation below

Muchas veces he tratado convencer a mi esposo ver la novela conmigo.

Me contesto, "QUE!
Yo,  "No a Tina! A "Teresa!"

If you read my blog then you know that I love the novel "Teresa."   Every night I watch it.
Many times I have tried to convince my husband to watch the novel (spanish soap-opera) with me. He doesn't like them.

El Mexicano usually returns on the weekends from his trips. When he returns, I always have tons of news.
The other day he returned from work and opened the door, I quickly started talking about everything going on here. I told him about our son, about my work, and about how "Teresa" got shot.

He replied, "WHAT! Is she okay?"
Me, "Yes, she is alive but in the hospital and in a coma. She can't move."
My husband, "Which hospital is she in? Is she going to be alright?"
Me,  "I do not know which hospital, it's the hospital where she lives. The doctors are waiting for her to come out of the coma."
My husband, "Have you talked with your parents? What did they say? Can we visit?"
Me, "What? Who are you talking about?
My husband, "Your cousin!  Didn't you just tell me she was shot?"
  Me, "Not Tina!  Teresa! "

The Mexican told me he didn't want to know anything else about "Teresa."  After almost giving him a heart attack, I think he's right.  I'm not going to tell him anything else.

  2. LMAO!!! That is hilarious!!! :)

My hubby doesn't like telenovelas either, but my 13 year old daughter does. Monday thru Friday, she walks over to my suegra's house to watch their favorite novela together. :)

  3. OMG!!! Jijijiji ... I love it. You crack me up. I don't know what I'm going to do when Teresa's over. I love getting my daily updates. On a different note, I've been thinking about you with the hurricane. You all set? Take care, okay. Un abrazo fuerte, amiga.

  4. ¡Ay no!
