El Elfo

As most of you know, on Fridays I try my hardest to participate in Latinaish's "Spanish Friday."  It is open to all bloggers who wish to post something in Spanish.  It is great practice for me!  So here is my post today.  An English translation is below in italics.

El Elfo en la Platforma
The Elf on the Shelf

Nuestro elfo llego!
(Our elf arrived!  My son is happy that "Glowy" is here.)

(After sitting on the shelf all day watching my son, the elf flies to the north pole and reports to Santa if my son was bad or good.)

("Glowy" is really mischevious!  Every morning after waking up, there is a surprise awaiting us.)

"Glowy" ha hecho las siguienes:
("Glowy has done the following:)

(Ate donuts and there was powder on his face to prove it!)

(He played the "Angry Birds" game and put all the stuffed animals on the sofa as his audience.)

(He has decorated the Christmas tree with my son's underwear.)

(The first thing my son does in the morning is look for the elf to see what he got into.

(There is nothing more spectacular than the innocence and belief in magic that my son shows me.)

  1. That is so cute. I have a friend that has one. She posted a picture yesterday of him on her sons potty with bakers chocolate in the potty. I was trying to remember all the things she did last year. There were alot of cute ones. If I can remember I'll let you know.

  2. Amiga!

  4. I have never seen one of these before but I so want one. I have been relishing in my sons innocence and belief in the magic of Christmas this last week, but I am beginning to think that this might be his last "Santa" Christmas.

  5. Tonya,
That is hilarious! I'll have to remember that one!

Ezzy, isn't funny how we all get up at the crack of dawn to move him. It's worth it though....

    Jennifer,
Yep, I think it is just as much fun for us adultos!

    Jennifer,
I dread that day... but ya know he might just be on the fence about it. I bet you've still got a year or 2 if he thinks Santa might bring a present if he still "believes". =)
