1 Year Blogiversary

It's my Blogiversary!!!!

I can not believe I have had my blog for 1 year!

I remember when I decided to blog and thought, "will anyone even read this?"  This has been a surprising journey.

I've had the chance to make new friendships which has been the coolest thing of all.  I had no idea that this blogosphere even existed!  I've found people I can relate to.  My Spanish (reading and writing) has improved along with my cooking skills, my  personal outlook on certain situations have changed, I've gained so much knowledge on so many levels.  I could go on and on, so let me just say this.....

To everyone who reads my blog I appreciate you and  your support.  Thank you for stopping by and checking out what I'm rambling about or  what "The Mexican" is up to.  Thanks for commenting and showing us some  love!  To all the great friends I have made, you guys rock!  I'm such a lucky gal!  I never imagined blogging would open this new world up to me and bless me with friends as well.

Now, I wanted to do something really cool for my 1 year Blogiversary but it's not gonna happen.  At least not today. It will though.... I promise....

Long story short, I've been under the weather for close to a month.  (Hope this is not a pre-cursor to how my 2012 is going to go!)  The doctor has me taking steroids at the moment and let me tell you....  when the pharmacist told me they might make me irritated, I kind of laughed it off..... I'm an extremely easy going person!  Apparently pharmacist guy knew what he was talking about.  Aside from feeling bad and trying to re-cooperate, I've turned into the wicked witch of the west!

Just this week, I've had a road rage incident.  I almost started a fight shopping. (maybe I should join forces with Tomatoe Lady).  I lost it this morning when no one would acknowledge my good mornings and wake up so I resorted to slamming doors.  These incidents are just to name a few.

Basically what I'm saying is,  I've been too sick and too mad to plan out a great one year Blogiversary fiesta.
You guys mean the world to me though..... so stay tuned for some great plans I have in the making.

Love to you all!
Tara

  2. Being ill sucks Tara, but we are all entitled to a little road rage or supermarket blow ups from time to time. It's great having you around and I can't wait to read about your 2012. Hope you feel better soon.

  4. Congrats on your 1 YR!!!! I don't know about everyone else but I ask myself the same question...do this day..."will anyone even read this?" I've been Blogging for 4 years. I have found that even if it's one person who reads or if you write and it's for yourself...you learn so much about yoursel and grow! :D And, I have made amazing friends Blogging..so I am glad you like it! I hope you feel better!!!

Thanks for commenting. Yes! you are right! You learn tons about yourself from blogging and sometimes the posts are just as much for you as for your readers.
