Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!
Although I poke fun from time to time at my husband here on the blog... it is all in good fun. He knows this and I think that is one of the reasons he doesn't mind me blogging about our life together (with him being the main source of humor).
With today being Father's Day, I wanted him to know how much my son and I appreciate him.
What an awesome dad! Going above and beyond to provide for us. I know it is hard on him traveling and not being able to see his family for sometimes weeks on end. He does it though. He is putting our family first and that is one of the things I admire most about him.
When he arrives home after his trip, he always walks into our son's room and puts money in his piggy bank. At the end of year we count it up and deposit it into his savings account. I realize that he could use that money to buy himself something, but he thinks of our son 1st.
When he is home, he wakes up in the mornings and makes sure our son has a good start to his day by going all out for breakfast. Usually making eggs, potatoes, tortillas, and fruit. (not sure I could eat all that!)
Our son receives tons of hugs, kisses, and encouraging words from Dad.
Hubby ties shoes, plays in the back yard, spoils, hugs, saves money, works hard, cooks, all for our son... and the list could go on and on...
Happy Father's Day! You are an amazing Dad. We love and appreciate you very much!
