The Tramp

Yesterday my hubby was outside working in the yard.  He came inside with an irritated look on his face and says...

"I need a TRAMP!"

Me, "What? You need a what???"
Hubby, "a TRAMP.... for the back yard!"
Me, "You need a TRAMP for the back yard?" (I'm still confused at this point)
Hubby,  "Yes. If I can't find one I'll just make one!  That damn squirrel is eating all of the bird seed!"
Me, "Ohhhhh....  okay."

I continued folding clothes while giggling on the inside.
It all made sense now...

In Spanish,  the word for "TRAP" is pronounced  "la TRAMPA!"

Dreaming in Spanish

You will never believe what happened to me last night!

I went to a DLG (Dark Latin Groove) concert!

DLG is one of my favorite grupos ever!

They sing one of my favorite canciones (songs),  "La Quiero a Morir" ("I love her to Death").  This song always makes me want to dance!  I  know all the words and even sing along!

The Mexican threatened to throw away my  "DLG" cd  years ago,  after hearing it repeatedly for about a month straight!  I really can't get enough of their music. Now any time he hears me pop in the CD, he responds with "Here we go....." (while rolling his ojos!)

I know "La Quiero a Morir" is a remake of the original, but NO ONE can sing it like they do!

Huey Dunbar has an amazing voice!

I had the best time at the concert!  It was a once in a lifetime experience.  The best part  was at one point I realized Huey Dunbar was not on stage!!!  I looked next to me and there he was!  We started chatting up a storm and he signed my t-shirt.  I was in complete awe being so close to Mr. Dunbar!

This was my amazing dream I had last night in Spanish!

I'm sure most of you know that the group broke up in 2000, so none of the above is even possible.  I'm glad I had this dream because in reality I'll never have the chance to go to a DLG concert.  There is still the chance of meeting Huey Dunbar though...

I'm hoping the next time I dream in Spanish, I'll be at an Aventura concert!  Have I ever mentioned how much I love them as well?
