Teresa Update before the Finale

Are you ready for the finale?  I can't wait.  Here is a quick update of where we are one week before the finale.

 


Teresa esta LOCA!  Her world is starting to crumble.  She and Arturo are getting divorced.  Luisa hates her (for betraying her brother, destroying their friendship, and breaking up her soon to be marriage), Aurora can't stand her (for being so two faced, backstabbing, and a liar), Mariano wants nothing to do with her AT ALL! FINALLY!  He thinks Teresa is ridiculous at this point.  Teresa has all her chips on one bet.  Fernando!  She convinced Fernando to leave Luisa and call off their wedding.  She talked him into putting Arturo's and Luisa's house in her name.  Her father walked in on Teresa and Fernando kissing.  Her father was in such dismay that he fell over with a heart attack and passed away.

Mauriano is in love with Aurora and has asked her to marry him.  YAY!

Arturo is heartbroken and furious with Teresa.  He is over it though.  He sees Teresa is a liar and manipulator.  He gave her several chances but has seen her true colors.  He moved in with Luisa's friend (can't remember her name).  Teresa is pretty upset about this.  Teresa now realizes that she did love Arturo and has lost him just like she lost Mauriano. For good!

Fernando has fallen for Teresa como un loco!  Although his mom keeps trying to make him see the light, he doesn't want to hear it.  He felt somewhat bad breaking it off with Luisa.  I guess the thought of getting Teresa in bed is just too tempting to pass up.  MEN!  Anyways, his mother has threatened to not leave him any of her fortuna if he marries Teresa.  Do you think he cares? NOPE! Teresa does though....

 Ruben is out of jail.   He and  Paulo's mother (Jinovena or something like that, I can't remember exactly how you say her name)  just murdered Fito (Teresa's neighbor that helped Paulo become addicted to drugs, and stole Esperanza's baby).  They went to go dispose of the body.  Teresa was following Ruben to dig up some more dirt.  Teresa has witnessed them tossing Fito's body into a river or lake....  Fito's body was found and the police are now investigating.

This was just a quick update.  As you all know there are so many story lines in Teresa that I could never cover them all.  Not to mention it is almost one in the morning and I'm on my 2nd glass of white zinfandel.

Just one thing I wanted to mention then I'll wrap it up.  Has anyone else noticed how gorgeous Teresa's makeup is?  I love her eyeshadow the past 2 episodes.
The other day my phone was low on memory.  I started to clean out some pictures and videos to free up space and guess what I found!  A video of Teresa and her gorgeous eye shadow.  (My son loves to record things with my phone.  Apparently he recorded part of Teresa when it was on the television one night.  I must have been in my own world at the time.... I tend to go there when watching my novela.)

Teresa ......... the final weeks

 I am so overdue for a Teresa update. I've waited so long and so much has happened that I have no idea if I will remember everything....   The novela is in it's final weeks and I'm pretty upset about that.  I'm going to miss Teresa when she is gone.

Where to start....  I've got tons to cover.  All the story lines intertwine and it's hard to cover just one character.  I'm going to touch on the most important highlights or I'll never finish this post.


Teresa is one cold hearted b*$#&.   I still love her though.  She's been busy playing with people's hearts and minds.  

Aida, although Aida started off getting close to Mauriano  just to get back at Teresa, she ended up falling for Mauriano.  They dated for a while and it really pissed Teresa off.  Aida calmed down bashing todos los pobres de la vencidad.  She sort of became humbled.  In the meantime she found out Esperanza (her daddy's mistress) was preggers!  She convinced her mom to file for divorce.  Aida and her mother also discovered her father was involved in some fraudulent activities, notified the police, and he was arrested.  Mauriano broke up with Aida because she was harrassing Esperanza in the hospital. (Esperanza was placed on bedrest and was at risk of losing her baby) 

Mauriano, has finally seen the light!  He has finally seen how Teresa lies and lies then lies some more.  Mauriano made a fool of him self at the church by busting into the wedding and telling Teresa to not marry Arturo.  After waking up and smelling the coffee, he concentrated on working in the dinspensario (not sure of correct spelling) and ended up dating Aida.  Aida was ready to move in with Mauriano but then she started freaking out and acting crazy at the hospital (see above), Mauriano couldn't have that.  He now realizes he has feelings for Aurora!  (yay!!)  Teresa makes her occasional pop in suprise, but Mauriano has stuck to his guns and not fallen for Teresa's seductive ways.

Aurora's mother popped into town.  She ended up being complete trash.  Only after money.  She re-broke Aurora's heart.  Aurora did tell her off though and it was great!  Aurora was almost ready to marry Martin.  She can not deny that she still has feelings for Mauriano though...    Martin knows this and broke off the engagement.

 Ruben (Aida's father) went to jail (hahaahahaaaa).  He and Paulo's mother (can't remember her name) are in ca-hoots together and divising a plan to kidnap Esperanza's baby and raise it as their child.

Paloma died.  She was hit by a car.  While in the hospital and on her deathbed she confessed to Teresa  that her and Arturo slept together.

Arturo was devestated by Paloma's death.  He pulled it together though.  Once Teresa learned about Arturo and Paloma sleeping together all HELL broke loose.  She was all over that like white on rice....  Of course she had every right to be but she failed to mention she slept with Mauriano the night before their wedding.

Anyways,  she threatned divorce and made Arturo take her on this expensive trip to Europe, buy her all kinds of stuff etc...  Finally they decided to work on their marraige and save it.  Arturo confessed to Teresa he was working on this really big case and if he lost he would lose millions....  That got Teresa's attention! She helped him with the case etc...  It looked like all was good until Arturo gave Teresa's father some papers to be delivered relating to the case.  Teresa's father was attacked. (by Fito- the guy who Teresa paid to get Paulo addicted to drugs)  Fito, took the papers with him.  Arturo ended up losing the case.  Now he is in financial ruin.  The client who he was representing and lost, showed up at the house with a gun.  Teresa got in the middle of them and was shot.

Teresa, went to the hospital and was paralyzed for a while.  She has recovered.  Once home, Arturo found out that Teresa slept with Mauriano and married him for money.(he even had proof)  He was FURIOSO!  He wanted a divorce and told Teresa to get out!  Teresa was crying and packing her bags when Arturo had a change of heart.  He told her he still loves her and to stay.  Once again, they decided to work it out.  Arturo is starting to catch on to Teresa's true nature.  Arturo decided to test Teresa.  Since he lost the case, he lost all of his fortuna.  They had to move out of the house, sell the car, etc...  No worries, Arturo found them another house...... in la vencidad!  Teresa is freaking out over having to live there again.  She is sad and mad that Mauriano is luchando por el amor de Aurora.  She is pissed Arturo has her living in la vencidad.  Teresa is working on a plan.....  I'm not sure what it is but she has her eye on Fernando.

Fernando is engaged to Luisa (Arturo's sister).  He has a strong attraction to Teresa.  Fernando's mother came for a visit.  Fernando's mother is all about social class.  She can't stand Teresa because she comes from la pobreza.  She gives Teresa a hard time, always humiliating her.  So far it seems this woman might be able to take Teresa on.  Teresa is determined to have the final word though and hit her where it will hurt most.... her son!

So, this is where we are at.  I guess the finale is just around the corner.

Teresa update

 Teresa gets better and better each day!  Here is a little update for those of you watching.......

Well, Teresa has caused total HELL for a lot of people.  She has practically ripped Mauriano's heart out of his chest and handed it to him on a silver platter.  She's played and played with his  emotions. 

She's toyed with him long enough and finally decided although Mauriano
is now a doctor, he was not advancing fast enough, nor surrounding himself with the right people.

Thank goodness Mauriano has woken up so to speak!  He is catching on  to how much Teresa lies.

He has opened a clinic in the neighborhood and works at the hospital too.  He is always the doctor on call when something horrible happens in the hospital or neighborhood.

Gotta love Mauriano!


 

Deep down Teresa still loves Mauriano but her love for money and fine things in life is much greater.

She decided to accept Arturo's marriage proposal.  She moved into Arturo's house.  He gave her a HUGE ROCK, is buying her tons of fancy things including some designer wedding dress. Money is no option when it comes to Arturo and he is spoiling Teresa like crazy!

Paloma is Arturo's ex.  She re-appeared after years to ask him for forgiveness after treating Arturo so badly in the past.  Teresa keeps chasing her away but she keeps reappearing.  She also confessed to Arturo that she was pregnant with his child but the baby passed away after delivery.

 Luisa is Arturo's sister.  She was all frumpy and shy until Teresa came around.  Luisa didn't like Teresa in the beginning.  Teresa knew it was in  her best interest to befriend Luisa if she was ever going to have a chance with Arturo.

They are now such good friends (or so Luisa thinks) that they practically call each other sisters.

Luisa has fallen for Arturo's best friend Fernando.

Fernando is a player.  He cares for Luisa and wants to settle down but he still has a wandering eye.  He has sure noticed Teresa!  He is leaving for Spain to take care of some family business.  Oh! and he is loaded! $$$$

Paulo and Aida.  Teresa definitely got her revenge against these two for outing her for being "poor."

1st of all, Teresa talked the local drug dealer in her neighborhood into getting Paulo hooked on drugs.  Mission accomplished!  After, he was all strung out on drugs and Teresa basically ripped him to shreds he overdosed and died.  Mauriano tried to save him but it was too late.

2nd, Teresa sent Aida pictures of her father with his mistress.  Teresa also sent her copies of divorce papers her father was planning on filing.

Aida is pissed!  She has come  up with a plan to get revenge on Teresa.  She has befriended Mauriano and is now working at the clinic.  Aida and Mauriano are getting kind of friendly.  Teresa is not happy about this AT ALL!

Ruben (Aida's father) is a rich scum bag.  He has been having an affair with Esperanza (Teresa's friend, neighbor, and nurse at hospital).  He had her all set up in her own apartment.  Esperanza was really in love with Ruben and wanted to break things off because he kept promising to leave his wife and be with her but never followed thru.  She broke things off, but Teresa talked her back into seeing him (in order to get the picture to send to Aida, and other info)
Now Esperanza is pregnant with Ruben's child.  He does not know yet.
He's been busy begging his wife to not divorce him since the affair was discovered.



And just a couple of more details.......

Teresa has been treating her family like garbage!  She is super mean to her very sweet mother.  Teresa is always scolding her father for not finding a better job when he is a mechanic by trade.  Her friend Aurora has caught on to Teresa's true intentions and discovered some lies she has told.  Aurora has a new boyfriend but I can't remember his name at the moment.  Mauriano is a little jealous now.

Whew!  This is all for now.  Didn't realize how many story lines this novela had.  If I forgot any important details feel free to mention them.

Anyone else watching Teresa?

I'm really into this novela!  1st of all, the opening song is awesome!  My son dances to it and I've caught my husband humming it.  I  love the theme song and want to buy it!  Gloria Trevi sings the theme song which  is "Esa Hembra es Mala".  It is catchy!  I can't get it out of my head....... my husband either, i'm sure it doesn't help that I sing it in the shower every morning. LOL

 I couldn't find the actual opening to Teresa with the theme song, but this will do.  See if you like it?  My favorite lyric (esa hembra que te ama, esta jugando contigo, esa hembra perfecta, es puritita traicion)  Listen to the words.......

Whew!  Right!  Well so far the novela is just as good as the opening song! Apparently Rubi was similar and Selma Hayak was in one similar as well, but this is my 1st time being introduced to this story line so it is all new to me.

Teresa played by Angelique Boyer is a beautiful young girl who is obsessed with money and becoming rich.  She is deceitful. She lies.  She is intelligent.  So far her sister has passed, she has vowed to get revenge on her ex and his new girlfriend for outing her as being "poor", and her parents do everything in their power to help her, but she wants more!  Her professor has agreed to pay for her to go to a great university and she works for him in return. She loves Mauriano (when convenient) and I'm wondering  if he'll ever be rich enough for her.  She also is developing some feelings for "el profesor" i think.........

Mauriano played by Aaron Diaz  (handsome guy!) lives in Teresa's neighborhood.  He drives a taxi and dreams of becoming a doctor.  He is a good guy.  He loves Teresa and is always trying to protect her along with doing what he can to help out his fellow neighbors.  So far, Mauriano does not like the fact that Teresa is working for "el profesor" and that her college is being paid for by "el profesor." Mauriano overheard Teresa's mother accusing Teresa of her and "el profesor" being too "friendly" with each other and accusing "el profesor" of wanting more with Teresa.  Mauriano lost it and went straight to the professor's house to confront him, but luckily was called away due to an emergency.  One of Teresa's best friends is secretly in love with Mauriano. (I would be too!  He is gorgeous!)

 Arturo de la Barrera (aka. "el profesor") played by Sebastian Rulli is one of Teresa's college professors.  He sees how smart (and beautiful) Teresa is and wants to help her.  After asking Teresa's parents for permission he pays for her university and Teresa works for him.  We learn that "el profesor's" parents were murdered and his ex girlfriend left him.  He is still struggling with this pain from years ago.  When the past is brought up he wants to drink. His sister and Teresa stay on top of the drinking and were successful at keeping the ex novia Paloma away until yesterday's episode!  Paloma  recently decided to get in touch with "el profesor" and ask him for forgiveness regarding the way she handled things in the past..... (he is just as handsome as Mauriano!  Los 2 son muy guapos!!)

Aurora played by Ana Brenda Contreras is one of Teresa's best friends.  Her father is a well respected doctor and she lives a rich lifestyle.  So far we have learned that her mother left her when she was little.  She does a lot of good deeds and secretly has helped out one of Teresa's neighbors by pulling some strings to help them get medical care. She also helped Teresa's sister when she was in the hospital with medical care.  She is secretly in love with Mauriano and has pulled some strings for him as well (secretly of course).  She is a true friend to Teresa. So this is Teresa so far in a nutshell.  After reading this it would be very easy to pick up!  I can't wait to see what is going to happen!  It is getting really good...........
