Prank Phone Calls

It's Throwback Thursday.  If you participated, please leave  your link in the comments below.

Who out there loves prank phone calls as much as I do?  I love a good laugh.  I remember when I was younger, prank phone calls use to be a Friday night ritual.  My best friend and I were REALLY good at them.   These days I get my prank phone call fix from YouTube.

While looking through some CDs the other day (I like to listen to music while cleaning and doing laundry), I found an old CD with my name on it.  I put it in and found myself laughing like crazy.

Years ago, a co-worker of mine prank called each one of our offices (dental offices).  I was included in one of the prank calls, so she gave me a copy.  I think by the time she got around to calling our office (there were 14 total) she was running out of ideas.  She basically called and said eating strawberries had turned her teeth red.  It's not as funny as some of the other prank calls on the CD, but I thought for today's Throwback Thursday post; I'd share my prank call debut!

On a different note,  the owner's of the company got a copy of the CD as well and praised me on my "customer service!"  It's funny because we get weird calls all the time at work.  I didn't realize I was being pranked because these types of calls are actually pretty common.

So, without further adieu...

Do you have a favorite prank phone call story or one you like to listen to on YouTube?  Share it with me!  I love to laugh!

  4. My friends I did prank calls as teens. I think it was mostly over just one summer. We would pick a random number in the phone book. Remember phone books? Once I got a hold of the lady of the house and told her I was with some defense agency and she was to warn her neighbors of an oncoming Russian attack. She seemed to believe me but I'll never know for sure.

Here's the Chinese restaurant prank call

    1. Bill,
Thanks for commenting. I remember phone books, lol! My friend and I use to just dial a random # if no phone books were available. Your prank calls sound hilarious! How did you keep from laughing (that's always the fun part, right?)

  5. You are a pro! Oh, my. I would've lost it when she said she'd used Ajax! LMAO I haven't gotten a prank call in a looong time. I did prank call my big brother a few years ago. He retired Navy and currently works as a contractor at an airfield and I called to complain about a gremlin I'd seen on the wing of a plane I'd recently been on. He was so polite! I would've hung up. :-)
